Blackjack is a game of skill, not luck. With the right strategy, you can dramatically improve your odds of winning.

When to Hit

• Hit when your hand is 11 or lower.
• Hit on 12–16 if the dealer shows 7 or higher.

When to Stand

• Stand on 17 or higher.
• Stand on 12–16 if the dealer shows 2–6.

When to Double

• Double on 10 or 11 if the dealer shows a lower card.
• Double on soft 16–18 (Ace + 5–7) when the dealer shows 4–6.

When to Split

• Always split Aces and 8s.
• Never split 10s or 5s.
